Standard White Bread: assumes 15 slices per loaf

Recipe Ingredients for White Bread

500 grams White Flour, Unbleached
7 grams Yeast
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1.5 tsp Salt, Table
10.56 fl oz Water

Recipe Directions for White Bread

  1. Start yeast in some sugared water 50/50 cold and boiled.

  2. Add the oil to the water.

  3. Add the salt to the flour.

  4. When the yeast is activated add to the flour with the remaining water.

  5. Knead 10 minutes. Rest for at least an hour.

  6. When rested re knead and shape or add to tin.

  7. Let it rise then bake for 35-40 minutes (230c for first 10 minutes then 190c for the remaining time).
