Lovely white bread for breakfast or brunch, also ideal for soup or salad. Makes one bread, 20-18 slices.

Recipe Ingredients for White Bread

300 ml low fat milk
50 grams butter
25 grams fresh yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp salt
550 grams wheat flour

Recipe Directions for White Bread

  1. Warm milk and butter until lukewarm.

  2. Mix with yeast, until milk and butter has absorbed all yeast.

  3. Mix with the rest of the ingredients.

  4. Let it rest in bowl with dishcloth over for 1 hour.

  5. Knead dough, and place on baking tray.

  6. Let it rest for 15 minutes at house temperature with a dishcloth over it.

  7. Glaze with egg for example and but a little cheese on top.

  8. Bake for 30 min. at 175 celsius
