High in protein & fiber, low in fat, no cholesterol or sat fat, beefy taste & texture. Yummo! Top with Cabot 75% fat-free cheddar if desired.

Recipe Ingredients for White Bean Veggie Chili

3/4 cup TVP
1/2 cup broth
1/2 onion chopped
1 cup navy beans (or canellini beans soaked & cooked - about 4 cups cooked - 2-15.5 oz cans)
28 oz crushed tomatoes
28 oz water
1/4 cup chili powder
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for White Bean Veggie Chili

  1. boil broth, add TVP, let rehydrate about 10 minutes.

  2. Chop onions, add to pot

  3. Add remaining ingredients, more or less on the spices, as desired, this recipe pleases my picky kids, and isn't too wimpy for me.

  4. Simmer 30 or more minutes.
