This version has a nice lemony tang. Feel free to add more or less cayenne to taste. Same with the tomato paste. I've also used sundried tomatoes, which I softened in boiling water, but I think the tomato paste makes it a bit smoother. Needs a little salt to bring out flavor.

1 1/2 cups white beans , cooked
1 tbsp tomato paste
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice (1 lemon, juiced)
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 tsp sea salt

Recipe Directions for White Bean Dip Version 2 with salt

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Peel the garlic and place the whole cloves in a piece of tin foil. Roast the garlic for around 20 - 25 minutes or until soft.

  2. Once the garlic has roasted, put everything into a food processer and smush it up until smooth.
