Wonderful appetizer on crostini's

Recipe Ingredients for WHITE BEAN with Crabmeat Appetizer

15 1/2 ounce White Beans, Small
4 cup spinach
6 clove garlic
8 ounce Crabmeat [196302
0.33 cup Orange Juice
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup basil

Recipe Directions for WHITE BEAN with Crabmeat Appetizer

  1. rinse canned beans well

  2. chop spinach

  3. mince garlic

  4. squeeze orange for juice (I always have extra juice ready to add more if I think it's to thick)

  5. HEAT pan with 2 tablespoons olive oil; sauté garlic and spinach.

  6. add rinsed White Beans; sauté with garlic and spinach. Squash beans with spoon in pan leave some whole STIRRING all the time so you don't overcook ingredients. ADD SALT AND PEPPER to taste.

  7. Spoon into serving bowl. ADD ORANGE JUICE. Cool then refrigerate. YOU CAN add the extra 2 tablespoons of olive oil and chopped basil here OR you can add it a few hours before you serve your guests.

  8. this recipe makes APPROX 30 to 40 tablespoons...serves 4 to 6 guests
