No sugar, 2% total fat, fiber % is wrong..total carbs=18.2, fiber=1.9, sugar 6.6? Must be more! These are hearty and not sweet, only thanks to the apple you have some sweet taste. I use pumpkin allspice in place of cinnamon, or you could add cloves, too.

Recipe Ingredients for wheat germ/whole wheat apple muffins, 7g protein!

2/3 cup fat-free milk
2 cup eggbeaters
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup whole wheat flour
2/3 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 apple

Recipe Directions for wheat germ/whole wheat apple muffins, 7g protein!

  1. Mix in bowl #1: 2/3 cup fat-free milk,

  2. 2 cup eggbeaters,

  3. 3 tbsp honey,

  4. 3 tbsp unsweetened applesauce.

  5. Mix in bowl #2:

  6. 1 cup wheat germ

  7. 1 cup whole wheat flour

  8. 2/3 tsp salt

  9. 4 tsp baking powder

  10. 1 tsp cinnamon

  11. Add finely chopped apple.

  12. 385F for 15 min or until toothpick comes out the center of a muffn (one in the center of the muffin pan) almost dry, no dough sticking to it. Store in tight tupperware to keep moist. Live on these :.>
