this recipe uses no eggs in the indian style pancakes.

Recipe Ingredients for wheat flour- yoghurt pancakes

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup yoghurt, plain
1 salt to taste
2 cups water
1 tbsp lentil, powdered
1 tbsp pepper, red, powdered
4 tsp oil

Recipe Directions for wheat flour- yoghurt pancakes

  1. mix all ingredients, except oil, together to a pouring consistency.

  2. heat griddle, grease lightly, pour two laddlesful of batter on it and flatten a little.

  3. pour 3/4 tsp of oil around the outer edges of the pancake, cover, reduce flame and cook for about 3 mts.

  4. flip over, cook for two minutes.

  5. remove and serve with a sauce.
