Recipe Ingredients for wheat berries, cooked

1 cup wheat berries
3 cups water
1 pinch salt

Recipe Directions for wheat berries, cooked

  1. rinse wheat berries

  2. place them in a covered container with 3 cups cold water(don't put salt in yet)

  3. soak overnight

  4. place wheat berries and soaking water in pot or crock along with salt

  5. bring to boil then simmer an hour or til tender
