Recipe Ingredients for Western Meal in One

1 lb extra lean ground beef
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 tsp chili powder
16 oz kidney beans - drained
2 1/2 cups diced tomatoes
3/4 cup instant brown rice
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Western Meal in One

  1. Brown beef and garlic in pan with cooking spray.

  2. Add onion and green pepper; cook until onion is transparent; drain off fat.

  3. In 2 qt. casserole combine the meat mixture salt, chili powder, beans, tomatoes, and rice.

  4. Bake, covered 350. for 30 min.

  5. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese bake another 15 min.
