Makes 1 serving



Just chopped up ingredients and allowed to simmer for about an hour. Its really really good, and really easy. This is just the amount of ingredients found in one serving.(A serving size is about 1.25 cups)

Recipe Ingredients for Weight Watchers Sausage/Bean Soup

0.25 cup Kidney Beans Dark Red
0.25 cup Black Beans
0.5 cup Tomato Products
0.25 cup Diced Tomatoes
0.5 serving Smoked Beef Sausage
1.5 tbsp chopped Onions
1 cup, chopped Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
1 cup Spinach

Recipe Directions for Weight Watchers Sausage/Bean Soup

  1. Brown/cook sausage. (Can be any kind of sausage, I use turkey, or beef. I also mix up spicy Italian flavors for spice and new flavors)

  2. Add 2-3 chopped zucchini

  3. 1 Small chopped onion

  4. 1 14oz can Black Beans

  5. 1 14oz can Kidney Beans

  6. 1 14oz can tomato sauce

  7. 1 14oz can diced tomato

  8. Add 1/2 cup water

  9. Can add oregano to taste

  10. Let simmer for 45 minutes to an hour.

  11. Add in 4 cups baby spinach and let wilt in soup.

  12. You can add a little parmazean cheese on top to taste.
