based upon a Wegmans recipe. I made the sauce instead of buying it and omitted the oil.

Recipe Ingredients for Wegman's Scallops with Cabbage and Corn in Citrus Soy Sauce

12 oz. scallops
1 tbsp flour
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup lemon juice
1/8 cup Caribbean sauce
1 tsp corn starch
1 1/2 lbs. cabbage, shredded
8 oz. corn
1 cooking spray

Recipe Directions for Wegman's Scallops with Cabbage and Corn in Citrus Soy Sauce

  1. bread scallops in flour

  2. spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray

  3. lay scallops on the tray and set aside

  4. turn on broiler

  5. mix corn starch, soy sauce, lemon juice and Caribbean sauce together, set aside

  6. spray a large skillet with cooking spray

  7. cook (high heat) cabbage in skillet until edges are slightly charred

  8. add corn and sauce, lower heat to medium

  9. cook scallops under broiler for 3-6 minutes

  10. as sauce starts to bubble, remove from heat

  11. mix cooked scallops into skillet (off of heat)

  12. serve
