A tasty and healthy way to start the day!

Recipe Ingredients for Weekend Oatmeal Breakfast Muffins

1 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. 2% milk
2 T oil
1 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 Egg, beaten

Recipe Directions for Weekend Oatmeal Breakfast Muffins

  1. Heat milk 1 min. in microwave.

  2. Pour over oatmeal and add oil.

  3. Mix remaining dry ingredients and sugar in a separate bowl.

  4. Add egg to oatmeal and mix in.

  5. Fold dry ingredients into oatmeal, about 10 times.

  6. Spoon into paperlined muffin tins and bake 15-18 min. at 425 degrees.
