A collection of 'good for you' stuff that I concocted: healty beans, low salt, chicken (boiled) without fat or skin or bones and a little chili powder to give it some 'zing' ! Oh, and don't forget the very, very healthy Stinging Nettle leaves (in season).

Recipe Ingredients for wayne's recipe #1

1 serving stinging nettle
2 serving bella tavola romano beans
8 cup Blue Menu Diced Tomatoes
1 cup Blue Menu Peaches and Cream Whole Kernel Corn
3 stalks Celery
3 leg, bone and skin removed Chicken, Leg, Meat Only
1 medium Onions
5 tbsp Sesame Seeds
2.5 tsp Chili Powder
180 grams bella tavola green lentils

Recipe Directions for wayne's recipe #1

Prep all ingredients and put in a large pot, except 1) boil chicken first separately and remove fat, skin and bones, and 2) soak the Romano Beans overnight per instructions on bag (brand names are not critical but the Blue Menu item are low salt). Combine the separately prepared items (chicken and beans) with everything else. Bring to a boil and then lower to the lowest setting and simmer for 30 -40 minutes covered. Then, remove the lid and simmer until desired consistency (this to let some of the water boil away to your own personal desire). ENJOY!!!
