Recipe Ingredients for Waterzooie de poulet

4 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
6 serving trader joe
2 cup Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
1 cup, chopped Carrots
2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
2 tbsp Omega-3 with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Light Buttery Spread
1 large Egg, Yolk
8 oz Cream Organic Heavy Whipping
2 grams Bay Leaves
0.5 tablespoon Rosemary

Recipe Directions for Waterzooie de poulet

Saute diced potatoes, sliced leeks and carrots in Smart Balance spread until soft. Add 6 cups chicken broth and bring to boil. Add herbs and whole raw chicken breasts. Cover and simmer for 10 min, until chicken cooked through. turn heat down to low and remove bay leaves and chick breasts (set them aside). Stir egg yolk into whipping cream. Temper the cream by adding a ladelfull of hot broth to it and stirring. Do this once more then add cream to soup, stirring well. Slice up the chicken at this time and slip back into broth to bring up to warming. Serve with crusty bread.
