Recipe Ingredients for watermelon sorbet

25 oz Watermelon
2 oz Distilled, Vodka, 80 Proof
3 oz Pure Cane Sugar
1 lemon yields Lemon Juice

Recipe Directions for watermelon sorbet

  1. chop up watermelon and remove rind

  2. put in blender or food processor and puree until smooth

  3. add juice of one lemon

  4. add vodka (or any grain alcohol over 80 proof, this prevents the water in the melon from freezing up completely)

  5. add sugar to taste, can use less if your watermelon is really sweet

  6. mix all together in blender one last time

  7. put in fridge to chill for 30-60 minutes

  8. take watermelon mixture and put in ice cream maker according to directions of your ice cream maker
