Recipe Ingredients for Watermelon Slush

5 cups diced watermelon, divided
6 ounces gin, divided
8 tablespoons lime juice, divided
1 1/3 cups ginger ale, divided
1 leaf basil

Recipe Directions for Watermelon Slush

  1. Puree the remaining 4 cups watermelon. (Set the 5th cup aside.) Strain into a small pitcher.

  2. Mix in gin and lime juice; stir.

  3. Fill four glasses with ice and pour quarter of the mix into each.

  4. Top each 1/3 cup ginger ale. Garnish with a little watermelon and a leaf of basil or a wedge of lime.
