Great way to use watermelon that has become overripe (but still usable). I use a standard wire strainer so that you still get some fiber. The lemon counteracts the overly sweet watermelon juice.

Recipe Ingredients for Watermelon Punch 1

10 c watermelon, juiced, strained
2 c lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Watermelon Punch 1

  1. cut watermelon into chunks and squeeze by hand over a strainer.

  2. press the squeezed pieces against the wire until you get the yiled of juice you want.

  3. add the lemon juice - DO NOT SWEETEN!!
