Recipe Ingredients for Wasabi mashed turnips

6 medium turnips
1/4 cup nonfat milk
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp wasabi paste
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Wasabi mashed turnips

  1. Peel and dice the turnips and boil in water to cover until tender (15-30 min). Drain well and puree in food processor. Add just enough milk to get a good consistency.

  2. Stir in the rest of ingredients and season to taste (may need to adjust wasabi and salt).
