Recipe Ingredients for Wasabi glazed salmon burgers

300 g salmon fillet, skinned and chopped into small pieces
2 scallions, finely chopped
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp wasabi powder
1/2 tsp honey

Recipe Directions for Wasabi glazed salmon burgers

  1. In a large bowl, mix the chopped salmon with scallions, egg and ginger; stir to combine. Form the mixture into 4 patties and chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours) before cooking.

  2. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the patties and cook for 4 minutes. Turn and continue to cook until firm and fragrant, about 3 minutes.

  3. Whisk soy sauce, wasabi powder and honey in a small bowl until smooth. Set aside.

  4. Spoon the reserved wasabi glaze evenly over the burgers and cook for 15 seconds more. Serve immediately.
