Recipe Ingredients for Warm Beans with Herbed Tomatoes and Goat Cheese

3 tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil, snipped
1 oz ?(1/4 cup) fresh oregano, snipped
2 green onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
15 oz. canned kidney beans
15 oz. canned white beans
4 ounces goat cheese

Recipe Directions for Warm Beans with Herbed Tomatoes and Goat Cheese

  1. Amount for beans given is before cooking. For canned beans, use 15 oz. cans - I couldn't get the calorie count right without entering it this way.

  2. Warm the two cans of beans on the stove in their liquid.

  3. Meanwhile, chop the tomatoes and herbs.

  4. Drain the beans, top them with the herbed tomatoes and then crumble the goat cheese on top.
