Recipe Ingredients for Walnut Rice Dish

1 1/2 cups brown rice
1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/2 cups celery
1/4 cup red onion
1/2 bell pepper (red)
1/2 bell pepper (yellow or orange)
1 3/4 cup black beans

Recipe Directions for Walnut Rice Dish

  1. Cook the rice in three cups distilled water seasoned with one teaspoon of salt.

  2. While rice is cooking; open, drain and wash a 16 oz can of black beans (approximately 1 3/4 cup).

  3. Chop onions, pecans, celery, peppers, and onions.

  4. Add all ingredients to cooked rice and mix well.
