Dehidrated patties made from Enlightened Eating

Recipe Ingredients for Walnut Burgers

4 cups walnuts
1 1/2 cups carrots, finely chopped
1/4 onion
1 1/2 cups mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
1/2 red pepper, chopped
4 sun-dried tomatoes
2 tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tbs tamari
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Walnut Burgers

  1. Blend walnuts, carrots and half the onion, mushrooms, and garlic in a food processor until smooth -

  2. Add all other ingredients and mix well to combine Tans and adjust seasonings

  3. Form into patties and dehydrate for 2 to 4 hours ar 110 F. They are tasty with out dehydrating but ht burger will be soft.

  4. Serve on a romaine lettuce leaf.
