1 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 tablespoon corn meal
2 eggs, seperated
2 cups lowfat buttermilk

Sift dry ingredients. Beat egg whites until fluffy. Add liquids, then fold in beaten whites. Bake in a waffle iron. Makes 4 big waffles. Serving size is 1/2 a large waffle - 2 squares of 4.
