Recipe Ingredients for Waffles Whole Wheat + Wheat Germ

4 eggs
4 tbsp wheat germ
4 cups whole wheat flour
4 cups skim milk
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoon white sugar
8 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Waffles Whole Wheat + Wheat Germ

  1. 1. Preheat waffle iron. Separate yolks from whites. In a large bowl beat yolks, flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.

  2. 2. Beat egg whites in a separate bowl until fluffy, then fold them gently into the batter.

  3. 2. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot.
