Recipe Ingredients for Waffles I

3 tablespoons ground flax seed
1/2 cup water
6 tablespoons vegan margarine
1 1/2 cups soy milk
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
4 3/5 g Baking Powder
1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Recipe Directions for Waffles I

  1. In a food processor, or blender, whip flaxseed and water together until it reaches a thick and creamy consistency, about two minute. Add the butter and milk and whip for another minute.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. create a well in the centre of your dry ingredients and pour in the milk mixture. stir until just combined .

  3. Follow waffle iron instructions for cooking and serve how you like.
