Recipe Ingredients for Waffles

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups Almond Breeze Unsweetened
1 cup applesauce
2 tablespoons canola oil

Recipe Directions for Waffles

  1. grind flax seeds

  2. mix dry ingredients to blend well

  3. add milk and applesauce

  4. mix just until combined

  5. let batter rest for 5 minutes

  6. pour onto preheated waffle iron and bake to desired doneness
