Makes 24 servings



Serving Size: 1/4 of a waffle. This recipe usually makes 6 round waffles, but I usually break them into quarters. Got this recipe from the manual for my Kitchen-Aid mixer

Recipe Ingredients for Waffles

2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Recipe Directions for Waffles

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in mixing bowl. Add egg yolks and milk. Stir until combined, then stir in butter. Beat with an electric mixer at medium for about 30 seconds. Scrape the bowl, then beat for about 15 seconds more or until smooth.

  2. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, but nt dry. Gently fold egg whites into flour mixture.
