Recipe Ingredients for Waffles

1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup wholewheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons corn oil
1 large egg
3/4 cup nonfat milk
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Waffles

  1. Preheat the waffle iron by plugging it in.

  2. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder by whisking through dry ingredients.

  3. Add the milk, egg, and oil.

  4. Whisk and adjust milk as needed so batter is good for the waffle iron.

  5. Makes about 4 waffles on a round grid.
