A unique waffle recipe that isn't too bad on calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Waffles

2/3 cups Margarine
4 whole Eggs (separated)
2 cups Milk
3 cups Flour
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
2 teaspoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt

Recipe Directions for Waffles

  1. Melt the margarine and let cool.

  2. In a small bowl, beat 4 egg whites till stiff with peaks and moist. In a large bowl, beat 4 egg yolks until creamy.

  3. Add the milk to the beaten egg yolks. Sift or whisk the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add to the milk/egg mixture. Blend on medium speed. Add melted butter to the mixture. Only beat until blended. Fold in egg whites by hand.

  4. Cook according to your waffle iron instructions.
