Recipe Ingredients for waffles

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Recipe Directions for waffles

  1. beat egg whites, set aside

  2. sift dry ingredients

  3. add lemon to milk, let sit

  4. mix egg, milk, and oil

  5. add wet to dry, fold in eggs
