great for breakfast, can make healthier using wheat flour,honey in place of sugar,1 egg white and 1 whole egg. add blueberries, or walnuts in for extra vitamins and good fat.

Recipe Ingredients for waffles

2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for waffles

heat waffle iron, beat eggs, add remaining ingredients, beat until smooth. pour batter in center from cup or pitcher. bake until iron turns off or steam stops. approx 5 mins. you can sprinkle blueberries over top or add walnuts while its cooking. blackberries and strawberries are also great.
