Recipe Ingredients for Wacky Tofu Chow Mein

1 1/2 cup chow mein noodles
120 g tofu, cubed
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tspn ground ginger
1 tspn hoisin sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 red chilli peppers, crushed
1/2 red pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic
3 carrots, sliced
1/2 small red onion, diced
1/4 cup peanuts
1/2 cup coriander

Recipe Directions for Wacky Tofu Chow Mein

  1. sauce: ground ginger, hoisin sauce, lime juice, crushed chilli peppers (add as desired), half the soy sauce

  2. cook chow mein noodles, set aside

  3. cook the tofu in remaining soy sauce over a hot wok or frying pan, remove from pan

  4. heat oil and cook garlic, onions. when these start to get soft, add red peppers, carrots, (or wtv else) until soft

  5. add sauce and noodles, cook till hot

  6. add cooked tofu, peanuts, until hot

  7. serve, sprinkle coriander over top
