Recipe Ingredients for Waari Muth

4 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
3 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain
4 tsp Fennel Seed
10 g Turmeric Powder
8 grams Ground Ginger Spice
2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3 1/2 tsp Vegetable Broth

Recipe Directions for Waari Muth

  1. rinse beans

  2. soak beans overnight

  3. put beans, spices and 6 cups of water in the slow cooker

  4. cook on low 8 hours

  5. add 1 tsp pepper flakes

  6. serve with rice

  7. rinse rice

  8. soak rice 1 hour

  9. add 1 tablespoon of oil to hot rice cooker

  10. add drained rice

  11. cook 20 minutes on white rice setting with no water

  12. add vegetable broth and cook on brown rice setting
