Recipe Ingredients for Vital Wheat Gluten Burgers

15 g Vital Wheat Gluten
8 g Besan
5 g Scallion
6 g cornmeal
1/3 cup water
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Vital Wheat Gluten Burgers

  1. Soak 1/4 cup TVP for 15 minutes

  2. Prepare cornmeal with a pinch of cayenne, garlic powder and oregano and basil

  3. Prepare gluten and besan with spike and a pinch of cayenne

  4. Drain excess water from TVP

  5. Mix flour mixture ingredients into TVP, kneading well

  6. Heat pan to med-high heat

  7. Spread cornmeal onto a plate

  8. Form two balls with the burger dough

  9. coat patties with a bit of corn meal, gently patting them on the plate

  10. fry 6-8 minutes each side of the patties, Turning often.
