Recipe Ingredients for Vinegared Chilli Cabbage

1 chili pepper, red, halved, seeded and shredded
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 lb cabbage, white, cored and shredded
2 tsp. cider vinegar
1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Recipe Directions for Vinegared Chilli Cabbage

  1. Sauté the chilli in spray oil until it sizzles and curls at the edges.

  2. Add the garlic, cabbage and 75 ml water. Add salt to taste, bring to the boil, cover and simmer until cooked.
