Light and Fluffy Biscuits, best with whole wheat pastry flour.

Recipe Ingredients for Vinegar & Whole Wheat Biscuits

3/4 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1/2 tsp Salt, Table
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Leavening Agents, Baking Soda
2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1/4 cup vinegar

Recipe Directions for Vinegar & Whole Wheat Biscuits

  1. Combine milk and vinegar set aside. Shift dry ingredients together and make a well in the center. Pour milk mix and oil into the well. Pull dry ingredients to the center and mix until just combined. Do not over mix, it will make tough biscuits.

  2. Pat out on floured board and cut with glass or biscuit cutter.

  3. Bake at 425 for 15 - 20 min
