Recipe Ingredients for Vinegar Cole Slaw

2 pounds raw cabbage, thinly sliced
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
3/4 cup vinegar
2/5 cup sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 teaspoon cajun seasoning
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 serving Less Sodium Soy Sauce

Recipe Directions for Vinegar Cole Slaw

Pour vinegar, cooking oil, sugar, cajun seasoning, salt and pepper in saucepan over medium heat until simmering, stirring frequently. In large bowl, combine cabbage and onion, then pour vinegar mixture over the cabbage. Stir well, taste, and add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
