Trail mix recipe adapted from a homeade oatmeal bar.

Recipe Ingredients for Vikes Trail Mix

2/3 cup oats
1 banana
3 tbsp applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup almonds
1 cup cashews
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Vikes Trail Mix

  1. Mix oats, mushed banana, apple sauce, vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl.

  2. Roll mixture into small balls and place on baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 350. Let cool.

  4. Mix oat balls with almonds, cashews, pumpkin / sunflower seeds and dark chocolate chips or raisins.
