Recipe Ingredients for vietnamse shrimp sauce

800 g baby shrimp
100 g salt
50 g rice
20 ml rice wine

Recipe Directions for vietnamse shrimp sauce

  1. wash the baby shrimps, let them be really dry (this is important. if there's water on shrimp, the sauce will not success)

  2. roast the rice until its color becomes yellow, mince well

  3. Mix all ingredients above together, pour into a glass bottle

  4. Dry the bottle under the sun 10 - 15 days (depend on strength of the sun)

  5. Remember to open the bottle and mix ingredients well again after 1 week drying, then close the bottle and keep drying.

  6. When the shrimps change color to red-orange => sauce is ready to use
