i add salt & pepper to the dressing i also add 3 tablespoons of fresh mint minced to the mix at the end

Recipe Ingredients for Vietnamese chicken & mint salad

2 teaspoons hot sauce
1 fresh garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 ounces onion, thinly sliced
7 ounces cabbage, shredded
2 ounces carrot, shredded
8 ounces boneless skinless chicken breast, cooked & shredded

Recipe Directions for Vietnamese chicken & mint salad

  1. combine hot sauce, garlic, sugar, vinegar, lime, oil, onion and set aside for 30 minutes

  2. toss cabbage, carrot, chicken, and mint

  3. pour dressing over top and toss
