Recipe Ingredients for Very low fat Macaroni Cheese

225 grams Sainsburys Basics Pasta Shapes
1 tsp Pinch Of Herbs
1 grams Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black
18 grams Cornflour
450 Milk
100 g Fat Free Cheddar

Recipe Directions for Very low fat Macaroni Cheese

  1. Boil pasta according to pack instructions. Aim for al dente texture. Drain.

  2. Heat milk in a pan with herbs and seasonings. Stir continually to avoid sticking to pan bottom.

  3. Blend cornflour with water to make a thin paste. Add to milk & bring to boil, stirring. Stir until thickened, remove from heat.

  4. Grate cheese. Add 75g of cheese to sauce and stir in until melted. Scatter remaining cheese on top, leave to partially melt and then brown under a medium grill.
