hearty, warming.. but under 150 cals. I chose venison as it is low in fat (and free range!)

Recipe Ingredients for Venison and veg soup

4 cups beef broth
400 g diced tomato (with juice)
169 g chopped onion
142 g sliced carrots
14 g garlic (3 cloves)
117 g celery
189 g leek
1 tsp salt
1/2 g pepper
70 g cooked venison, thinly sliced

Recipe Directions for Venison and veg soup

  1. Ad a couple of squirts of low calorie oil spray to a pan.

  2. Sauté onions, half the carrots, half the celery, the garlic and leek for a few minutes, stirring

  3. Add the stock, tomatoes, salt and pepper.

  4. Simmer for 30 mins

  5. Add the remaining veg (so they have some crunch) and the venison and cook for a further 10 to 15 mins.
