Deer or roast beef or both and vegetable left overs with any desired vegetables added make a great stew. Healthy , too!

Recipe Ingredients for Venison/Roast Beef Vegetable Stew

5 oz beef roast
16 oz venison
8 cups beef broth
2 cups cooked navy beans, with liquid
2 cups frozen green beans
2 cups frozen corn
1 cup frozen carrots
1 cup uncooked brown rice
1 cup cooked mustard greens, with liquid
1 cup cooked cabbage
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Venison/Roast Beef Vegetable Stew

  1. Place left over roast and au jus along with carrots and potatoes from slow cooked dinner, in a crock pot.

  2. Add all remaining ingredients or vegetables of your choice.

  3. Slow cook until rice is done.
