Recipe Ingredients for venison roast 1

200 g raw carrots
90 g raw potato
140 g raw onion
800 g raw venison
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
7 g margarine
1 black pepper

Recipe Directions for venison roast 1

Rub roast with pepper and salt. Cook uncovered in shallow roasting tin in 350F oven for 30 minutes. Cut carrots, potato, and onion into large (2") chunks. Place with whole garlic cloves in roasting tin around venison, dot with butter or margarine, season with additional pepper and salt if desired. Return to oven and cook an additional 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender and roast is medium rare.
