Recipe Ingredients for Venison Meatloaf

1 lb ground venison
1 tbsp brown sugar
8 saltine crackers, crumbled
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp mustard, spicy brown
1/4 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 onion, diced
1/4 tsp ground thyme
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash paprika
3 tbsp ketchup

Recipe Directions for Venison Meatloaf

  1. preheat oven to 350 F

  2. mix together venison, 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, crackers, and egg in bowl. Season with mustard, garlic powder, onion, thyme, cinnamon, and paprika; mix well. Pat mixture into a 9x9-inch pan or a loaf pan.

  3. Bake in preheated oven to an internal temperature of 160 degrees, about 40 minutes. Stir together the ketchup and remaining brown sugar. Spread on top of meatloaf and place back in oven for 10 minutes more.
