Recipe Ingredients for Venison Lasagna

8 medium tomatoes
18 oz Hunt's Natural tomato paste
16 oz Hunt's No Salt Added tomato sauce
1 medium onion
1 medium green pepper
1 serrano pepper
1 pound ground venison
225 grams whole wheat pasta
15 oz fat free ricotta cheese
198 grams fat free mozzarella
1/4 cup egg beaters
1/3 pound mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Venison Lasagna

  1. Combine sauce, paste, peppers, and mushrooms in a pot, cook on medium low heat.

  2. Add spices to taste and stir every few minutes.

  3. Boil the pasta, drain.

  4. Combine ricotta, parmesan and egg substitute in a bowl, mix thoroughly, may add 2 tsp of basil.

  5. Mix sauce, pasta, and cheese mixture and shredded mozzarella.

  6. Bake in the oven on 350 degrees for 45 minutes, lasagna will be very hot.
