Curried Venison with vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Venison Curry

2 lbs venison
29 oz diced tomatoes
2 tbs olive oil
5 tbs curry powder
72 g onion, chopped
14 g garlic, chopped
300 g carrots
300 g corn
300 g cowpeas

Recipe Directions for Venison Curry

  1. Saute garlic and onions in olive oil.

  2. Take two pounds of venison tenderloin and slice into small pieces. Around two or three inch square.

  3. Brown the venison tenderloin in olive oil just enough to brown all sides. You're not trying to completely cook the venison.

  4. Add tomatoes, onion, garlic, curry powder and venison to slow cooker. Cook on high for several hours then reduce to low and cook for 10 to 12 hours.

  5. If using fresh raw carrots add them with venison. If using canned/cooked carrots add them now with corn and cooked field peas.

  6. Continue to cook on low for several more hours to allow the vegetable s to take on some of the curry flavors.
