Recipe Ingredients for Venison/beef stew

1 tsp oil
2 medium onions
2 cloves garlic
15 oz tomato sauce
3/4 cup chopped celery
3/4 cup peas
3/4 cup chopped potatoes
3/4 cup chopped carrots
2 lb lean beef
3 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
2 cups water
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp marjoram
1 tsp chili powder
1 salt to taste

Recipe Directions for Venison/beef stew

  1. Shake meat in bag with enough flour to cover all pieces.

  2. Sear meat in pan so juices will not come out during stewing and meat is mostly cooked.

  3. If vegetables are raw, add everything to slow cooker for 2-3 hours or until veggies are soft. If using canned vegetables, do not over cook; they will be mushy.

  4. Make sure meat is fully cooked before eating.
