Recipe Ingredients for Venetian Rolled Pizza

1 lb pizza dough
8 oz mozzarella cheese
7 oz proscuitto
1 cup baby spinach
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp kosher salt

Recipe Directions for Venetian Rolled Pizza

  1. Roll out pizza dough to 12 - 14 inch diameter circle, or about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. Sprinkle 1/2 of the mozzarella over the dough.

  3. Arrange the prosciutto over the cheese in a single layer.

  4. Sprinkle with Spinach.

  5. Top with the remaining cheese.

  6. Take 1 end of the circle and roll the dough up into a thin cylinder, gently folding the ends.

  7. Brush the dough with the olive oil and season with Kosher salt.

  8. Place dough, seam side down, on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.

  9. Allow pizza to cool for 10 minutes before cutting. Use a serrated knife and cut into 3/4 inch pieces (about 20).
