Vegtable Fried Rice Recipe

Brown or white rice can be used in this recipe. The Chinese 5 spice makes it sweet

Recipe Ingredients for Vegtable fried rice

3 1/2 cups brown rice,cooked
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 medium onion
1 tbsp ginger
1 cup carrots
1 cup cabbage
1 cup broccoli
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup green peas
1/2 cup corn
2 tsp chinese 5 spice
2 eggs

Recipe Directions for Vegtable fried rice

  1. Heat frying pan over high heat. add oil, onions and ginger fry for 30 seconds.

  2. add carrots,cabbage,and broccoli cook for 2 minutes

  3. add 2 tbsp water and lemon juice cover and steam for 2 minutes

  4. add peas, corn, chinese 5 spice and season to taste with salt and pepper

  5. add eggs and cook for 1 minute

  6. add rice and stir fry untill rice is heated

  7. stir in remaining water
